Nippon Steel Corporation supports several community athletic teams.
We foster junior athletic teams, give sports coaching to children, and open up sporting facilities to the public in various places in Japan.

Sakai Blazers, based in Sakai, play in the V Premier League in Japan.
Rugby
Kamaishi Seawaves is a local club team which has inherited the pride and glory of the then nicknamed “Ironmen from the North,” who had won the seventh consecutive national rugby championship from 1978 to 1983.

Our Judo Club, based in Hirohata, has 60 years of history and produced many Olympic athletes.
Kashima Antlers FC
With Sumitomo Metal Industries Football Club as its parent organization, Kashima Antlers FC in the Japan Professional Football League (J League) was founded in 1991 and has become one of the leading club teams in Japan.
