- NSHYPER BEAM is Rolled H-shapes having large sizes and wider size availabilities. By using it as an alternative for Built-up H-shapes, you can reduce costs and shorten fabrication processes because there is no need of welding.(Maximum size:D:1000mm x W:400mm,Number of sizes:609(S355JR,J0,J2,K2))
- With the flexibility of it's flange width, NSHYPER BEAM allows you to select an optimum size according to beam design's conditions. In addition, the ratio of the flange thickness to web thickness of NSHYPER BEAM is higher than that of conventional H-shapes, allowing economical design.

Welded light gauge steel H sections is a H-beam continuously manufactured from hot-rolled coils by high frequency resistance welding. Welded light gauge steel H sections is thinner, the weight can be significantly reduced compared to hot-rolled H-beams when the cross-sectional performance is the same. As another characteristic, the dimensions are accurate, has been applied to various sectors such as industrialized houses, temporary houses, system buildings, steel frames for buildings, greenhouses, and automotive chassis.

The BT-HT series is high-tensile steel for which the yield point does not decrease even for thick products. Most types are manufactured by applying the thermo mechanical control process (TMCP). The high-tensile steel with excellent weldability has been applied to various buildings.

Steel pipes for building construction approved by the Japanese minister. The SA-T series with a low yield ratio and the SA-TT series with a high yield point that are mainly used as elastic parts are available. NIPPON STEEL's seamless steel pipes are the world's top brand.

As the size of buildings increases (higher-rise and larger span), the strength and the cross section of steel materials for steel frames need to be increased. High HAZ toughness steel (HTUFF™) for building construction can be processed by large heat input welding that is required to increase the strength and the cross section. The steel can secure the performance at welds and can improve the welding efficiency at the same time.

"U Column" is the product name for our large size square steel pipes (over 200-mm square) conforming to JIS G 3466 Carbon Steel Square and Rectangular Tubes for General Structure (STKR400 and STKR490). The available maximum size is 550-mm square with thickness of 22 mm. They are mainly used as studs of steel-frame buildings as well as for roof trusses, bridges, and construction and industrial machinery.Various major international standards, such as ASTM, CSA, EN, AS are available.

Square steel pipes (smaller than 200-mm square) conform to JIS G 3466 Carbon Steel Square and Rectangular Tubes for General Structure (STKR400 and STKR490). They can be used as building components and for frames of construction and industrial machinery and for many other application purposes. In addition to black pipes, colored square pipes for which coating has been applied as primary rustproofing are provided. "Eco-Kaku", square steel pipes with thinner walls compared to those of conventional square pipes are also available.Various major international standards, such as ASTM, CSA, EN, AS are available.

Stainless steel sections with high corrosion resistance do not require coating on the surface, so they are easy to maintain. The surface finishing has a matte (No. 1) or brushed finish so its design is excellent. NIPPON STEEL provides stainless steel sections in various sizes (angles, channels, and rolled H-sections) and flat bars.

NSMP Deck Plates made its debut in Kasumigaseki building, the world's first quake-proof skyscraper. Since then, we have been giving careful attention to customer requests and we have been improving and refining our deck plates and developing new types to satisfy various needs, providing products optimum for each use.

- Roof

As the series of NSMP Roof Decks, UA-R, a new type of deck plate with narrower ditches and higher walking safety, joined our product line-up, following Super E deck and HYPERDECK™. This enrichment in our product line-up remarkably improves the external insulation roof construction method using deck plates as beds. NSMP Roof Decks are applied to a wide range of applications for roofs.

Cynos Decks have the floor quality of "slabs with equal thickness" while the "deck composite slab structure" is highly economical compared to other construction methods, satisfying high levels of demand for vibration and sound insulation performance. They can be flexibly constructed at actual construction sites similar to conventional deck plates, for example, they can be cut and welded at actual sites. Connecting decks to partition walls has been made easier, which contributes to saving labor.

Flat decks for high loads and long spans. The height of the ribs was reduced to 90 mm by revising the shape of upper flanges. The cross-sectional performance has been improved even when compared to products with 100-mm ribs height, with lighter weight. The adoption of the sliding method in which ribs are engaged and the elimination of adjustment decks enhances the work efficiency at actual construction sites and contributes to enhancing the safety.

Laminated metal sheets for which NIPPON STEEL SuperDyma™ highly corrosion-resistant coated steel sheets is used as the base material and Tedlar™ the only one type of 100% fluororesin film¾is used as film. They are highly resistant to sunlight, acid, alkali, and salt damage. They are used for roofs, walls, and many other applications in severe environments such as in coastland and industrial zones.

Hot extruded shapes are produced by means of the hot extrusion method. The hot extruded shapes thus obtained are then subjected to tensile straightening and other finishing processes to produce the final product.Accordingly, the hot extrusion process is suitable for producing shapes of complex configuration, multiple-grade / small-lot shapes, and difficult-to-process materials.
