NSSMC Vietnam Company holds an opening ceremony of its Hanoi
Representative Office
Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC), which has been operating its representative office in Hanoi, Vietnam from December 1st 2016, has held the opening ceremony of the Hanoi office at a hotel in Hanoi on July 28, 2017.
The guests has counted up to 160 peoples, including representative from both the Vietnamese and Japanese Governments and the academic institutions in Vietnam. The guest of honor was Mr Kunio Umeda, Ambassador Japan to Vietnam, Mr Nguyen Ngoc Dong, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Transport, Prof Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Long, Rector of University of Transport and Communications, and Prof Dr. Motoo Furuta, Rector of Vietnam Japan University.
Vietnam is the largest steel market in the ASEAN region and has strong potential of economic growth. For the past decade, NSSMC, jointly with the government, universities, and research institutions in Vietnam, has been jointly investigating in development of civil engineering products and applications suitable to the climate and environment of Vietnam. With the newly enhanced organization and experienced staffs of the Hanoi office, we will respond promptly to the needs of Vietnam’s growing economy.
