Establishment of REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE IN HANOI

Vietnam economy is expected to grow along with the development of social infrastructure. Steel demand in Vietnam is also expected to grow continuously in industries such as infrastructure and energy sectors for investment in social infrastructure with its long-term forecast of growth in economy.

NIPPON STEEL & SUMITOMO METAL CORPORATION has established NIPPON STEEL & SUMITOMO METAL VIETNAM COMPANY LIMITED (NSSMV) aiming to strengthen its function in collecting information, supporting steel sales and technology services in Vietnam in October 1^st this year.
On December 1^st this year, NSSMV will establish The Representative Office in Hanoi, where government related organizations concentrate, in order to promote the wider usage and application of steel in Vietnam.
