Thai Sumilox, Sumitomo Metals’ Subsidiary in Thailand, Restores Operation after Flood Damage

Thai Sumilox Company, Ltd. restored the pressing line and resumed operation today after the suspension on October 8, 2011 due to flood damage in Thailand. Thai Sumilox is a subsidiary of Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd. Its business is processing and sales of electromagnetic steel sheet. We thank our customers, equipment makers, and others for their support.
Thai Sumilox subsequently plans to restore and resume the slitting line (*) by the end of March 2012.
