An announcement was made on March 2, 2012 that Mr. Yasuo Takeda would retire as Director of Nippon Steel Corporation at the end of 88th Annual Shareholders Meeting scheduled to be held in late June 2012.
This is to announce that Mr. Yasuo Takeda has been nominated for the position of the Representative Director and President of Sanyo Special Steel Co., Ltd. in late June 2012.
