Nippon Steel Awarded Bongkot Field Development Project Phase 3E for PTT Exploration and Production P

Nippon Steel Corporation have been recently awarded by PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited an EPC contract to construct three offshore platforms and associated offshore pipelines for Bongkot Gas Field located in Gulf of Thailand.

The scope of the contract covers engineering， procurement， fabrication and offshore installation for three offshore platforms totaling over 6，100 mt and for three offshore pipelines totaling 22 km. The engineering， procurement and fabrication for platforms will be performed in Thailand， and the offshore installation will be performed by Nippon Steel’s derrick and lay barge.

Nippon Steel have completed 3 major contracts for Bongkot Field Development project and this contract is the 4th major contract awarded for Bongkot Field Development Project.
