NSSMC Achieves Record-high Production in Fiscal 2014
Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (President: Kosei Shindo, NSSMC) has achieved record-high annual production volumes for the following items in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2015 (fiscal 2014). Details are as follows.
These record-high production volumes have been reached as the operating, maintenance, and production control divisions have strived hard and made improvement with ideas and efforts, together with partner companies, and as the steel works maximized their integrated capacity, encompassing from molten pig iron tapping to molten steel tapping, hot rolling, and shipment.
1. Wakayama Works
