IP Gold titanium consisting of titanium material with titanium nitride (TiN) coating applied atop is adopted for the roof of Ryuuou Shrine.
Nippon Steel received an Award of Excellence of the 5th Monodzukuri Japan Grand Prix for this IP Gold titanium jointly with Toyo Stainless Polish Industry Co., Ltd. It is a product that is imparted with durability and magnificent brilliance exceeding the conventional gold leaf and gold plating.
