Flat surface

■Type, symbol, and applicable indicated thickness

ZEXEED has a slow plating layer corrosion rate, and there is a lasting barrier effect of the protective membrane formed on the plating layer, so it is about ten times more corrosion resistant than hot-dip galvanized steel(GI), and about two times more corrosion resistant than conventional highly corrosion-resistant galvanized steel.

Cut end face

■Accelerated corrosion test (JASO)

ZEXEED is superior to other galvanized steel in terms of corrosion resistance at the cut end face.
*The red rust area ratio may vary depending on the degree of plating loss at the end face.

Processed part

■Example of end-face corrosion resistance in processing

ZEXEED shows high corrosion resistance to processing such as punching metal.
The edge of cutting by punching is protected by a protective film formed by elution of the plating layer.
*In outdoor exposure, red rust may occur depending on the thickness and opening ratio, but it will be covered by the protective film over time.
